Who's Been a Naughty Blogger?

Wow. Halfway through January and I have not blogged. Bad bad blogger! Not much is going on. Life is back to normal after Christmas. We have had horrid weather and it really has kept us housebound. I really don't mind being home but it may be starting to wear on the stay at home Daddy! No school since Tuesday! Things are pretty rough when I get home.  We have had tons of snow and sub zero temps. I am ready for a vacation that is coming up! It is to someplace warm.  I think I may start tanning so I don't burn!

I didn't make resolutions this year. They always fail. But I have "promised myself" to read more, get my rear back to the gym, log my points better and continue to create. Every Jan/Feb (also in July/Aug) I go through the closets and cabinets and toss or donate. I have the kitchen and my scrap space done so far. Next is the laundry room, Cole's toys and the coat closet. Then it is onward and upward the the clothes.  I love doing it, I just need the time!

Here are some random pics from this year. Enjoy.

We Have Babies!

Cole is very excited about his new babies in the backyard. Hopefully the huge Daddy Snake stays better hidden. We know he is huge because he shed at least 3 times that we know of this summer. This must be one of his offspring!
Today was the last day of the crop. Here is me, Kris and Sandy. The kids are running around like wild yahoos in the background.

Ripping out the hedges

We started ripping out he front yard today. We only made it 1/4 of the way :(. It is hard work. There are so many roots and rocks. We are having to take the 2 tons of rock to the back for now. I don't know if we are going to put it back or mulch when we are finished. We ended earlier than expected cause our one and only shovel broke. Steve didn't think it sounded like fun to try to dig out 2 tons of rock with Cole's little shovel. Feel free to come and help this weekend!

To the left of Steve there were huge bushes that were half dead and half way up the house. Gone. Well not really. They are waiting for our friend with the pick up come and get them for the clean landfill.

Steve attempting to use the tiny shovel!
