Really nothing going on here

Just counting down until vacation! Cole's allergies (and mine) are totally out of whack. I just have no energy when it comes to this time of year. Hot, humid and itchy! We ordered a new camera. Hopefully it will be here today or tomorrow. I had yesterday off and I did absoutely nothing. It was wonderful. Here are a few projects. TFL

Ripping out the hedges

We started ripping out he front yard today. We only made it 1/4 of the way :(. It is hard work. There are so many roots and rocks. We are having to take the 2 tons of rock to the back for now. I don't know if we are going to put it back or mulch when we are finished. We ended earlier than expected cause our one and only shovel broke. Steve didn't think it sounded like fun to try to dig out 2 tons of rock with Cole's little shovel. Feel free to come and help this weekend!

To the left of Steve there were huge bushes that were half dead and half way up the house. Gone. Well not really. They are waiting for our friend with the pick up come and get them for the clean landfill.

Day to myself

It was so nice having a day to do nothing. I got up at my usual 4:30am. Got a headstart on the web surfing and emailing. I went and got my hair done. It needed it badly! Then it was home to scrap (see following projects). We ate at the Hickory House for lunch. Didn't have ribs, but they sure did smell good. We decided to take a short ride through the country. It was a beautiful day to ride along and have the windows down. This afternoon I even snuck in a nap. Which is why I am not tired now. So off to bed to watch TV til I fall asleep. Goodnight all.

6/4 Happenings

Well wer were busy last night. We decided to start on the house again. Cole's room first since it needs the most. Cole picked out a lovely shade of pool table green! Good thing it will only be halfway up the wall. The lower half will be white. We are in the process of making a list of things to do to the home. Feel free to come and pitch in!

and you are having a birthday in the next three weeks don't read any further. I was making birthday cards this morning for a few special girls. It is rainy and cold here. The heat came back on. Cole woke up 3 times last night with bad dreams? Probably watching too many sharks, rats and snake nature shows. Other than that it is very borning around here.
