Finally. SK Graphic Design broke down to all my pleading and whining and made me a header for the blog.  Isn't it super! Gotta love the guy.

2009 Pick

Challenge was to pick your favorite layout you have done so far this year and post it on your blog. That was hard. I have done several that I just adore. This one of my guys really tugs at my heart. I love the colors, texture, layers and picture. I have it displayed in my dining room so I can look at it all the time.  Aren't they cute?

We are getting ready to do "IT" again??????????

Yes folks you heard me. Home renovation fever has hit us again. This time will be different.  First we are living in the house while we renovate and second.......it's the kitchen..........yikes. We are in the planning stages now. We have picked out what we want, what we can reuse and our budget written and posted. We are planning on reusing our cabinets (painted and new doors), all of our appliances are new. Our big ticket items will be flooring and countertops and a new sink (cause I want a new farmhouse apron sink.......because I just do:) ). Now we have to wait till it gets warmer so we can BBQ. We may also have to invite people from Missouri up here for a "working vacation" :). Only for the wall removal and putting a new beam up. The rest Steve figures that I may be of some help!

I love change. I am so excited about starting and making the kitchen bigger. I also am excited and nervous about the new change going on at work. The new bed tower opens in a month. Now the planning of how and who will move is going on. So much anticipation! Hopefully it all goes smoothly.

I will post pics later (when I can get on the good computer) of the kitchen as it stands now so you can follow the dust of change! Have a good day everyone.

Winter Blahs!

Will it ever end? Winter that is. I am really ready for warm sunshine and green grass! I must be getting old. I don't remember hating winter this much as a wee one. There is really nothing going on. Work is work. We are getting ready to move into the new bed tower at work. Change is nice. The tower is beautiful. Here are a few pics to catch you up on the goings ons. Enjoy.

I need Accountability

Just something I need. Someone to follow me around and bark orders, commands and encouragement. I have so many things I need and want to do. Not only this weekend but in life in general. The mojo/motivation is lacking.........or something/someone gets in the way.

This weekends list:

post office

make 10 get well cards for a swap

bathe and groom dogs

help Cole with Valentines

scan and submit cards to a magazine call

go see the eagles at Starved Rock

clean the house

purge Cole's toys (at his request!!!!)

find a tanning salon

get my hair cut and colored

ahhhhhhhhhhh. I need to be cloned!

Where did that come from?

Out of the blue Cole came up with a temp of 102! Not sure what is going on. No other symptoms at all. We will have to watch him the next couple of days. It was a great scrapping weekend. The girls scrapped and the guys watched football. We ate more then we should of.....but it was a party so they were "empty" calories. I still have all the clean up to do. My entire scraproom is in the dining room! I will move it back slowly over the next couple of days. Have a great one everybody.
